Asómbrate is a program by Solidaridad Network, designed to promote sustainability in coffee and cacao production. It aims to give smallholder farmers the opportunity to sell the carbon captures made by trees in their crops in international markets.

IT DEPENDS

Every year the satellite measures the growth of the trees in your crop. If you have removed at least 1 tonne, this is equivalent to a CRU and it is sold for a minimum of 20 Euros, of which 80% is transferred directly to you.

This can change every year, due to different factors. If the trees in your crop do not register growth in a year, unfortunately you will not receive any payment.

Payment is made through bank accounts, so you must provide the information to the technician who registers you on the platform.
